Therapeutic
Therapeutic Standard
Therapeutic orthotics are designed for people with diabetes, arthritis, and other conditions that result in
sensitive feet. Constructed with a multi-density material combination of Plastazote and heat moldable
polyurethane, these orthotics offer excellent resilience, cushioning and shock absorption. The polyurethane
base layer is 3/16'' thick from the heel through the arch, tapering towards the toe, and has a durometer of
Shore A 40. Because of its distinctive self contouring capabilities and hypoallergenic formulation,
Plastazote is recognized by medical professionals as the material of choice for treating diabetic/arthritic
feet. All Therapeutic insoles are coded A5512 for Medicare reimbursement when dispensed as part of the
Therapeutic Shoe Bill.
Therapeutic Anatomical
A strong metatarsal feature has been added to the Anatomical Version to relieve ball of foot pain and to
help facilitate off-loading of the metatarsal head area. Therapeutic orthotics are designed for people with

Our wide version is cut from a larger and wider mold, and accommodates patients who need to be fitted to
very wide shoe. Like our other Therapeutic insoles, the heat-moldable polyurethane base layer will retain
its shape, and never bottom out. Therapeutic orthotics are designed for people with diabetes, arthritis,
